We are seeking a Product Operations Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct merchant outreach via phone and email to gather feedback, identify pain points, and capture qualitative insights
- Analyze recorded sales calls, identify patterns, and synthesize trends to improve positioning and messaging
- Design and execute outbound email sequences using sales engagement tools
- Analyze sales funnel performance to identify drop-off points and recommend improvements
- Perform ad hoc analysis to remove operational bottlenecks and improve team efficiency
- Organize and structure qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through summaries and recommendations
- Build and maintain workflows, trackers, and documentation to support operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support growth and operational initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- An advanced degree is a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in sales operations, growth operations, business operations, consulting, or a related field
- Experience conducting outbound outreach via email and/or phone in a professional setting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret datasets, funnels, and performance metrics
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas
- Ability to independently analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise summaries and outreach messaging
- Ability to manage independent workstreams with minimal supervision
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in outputs
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adapt to shifting priorities
- Comfortable speaking with customers or merchants without heavy scripting
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sales ops, growth ops, BizOps, or consulting environments
- Familiarity with outreach tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar platforms
- Experience with call analysis tools such as Chorus or Gong
- Exposure to SMB, restaurant, or merchant ecosystems
- Basic experience with SQL or data querying tools
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
- Experience in the marketplace, SaaS, or platform-based companies
- Experience conducting qualitative research, such as interviews or win/loss analysis
