Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwide clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are available in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.

We are seeking a Product Owner on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in San Francisco, CA.

The MarTech Product Owner is central to managing current technology for Old Navy marketing, driving innovation, and achieving results. This role is pivotal in enhancing digital user experiences and collaborating with production, marketing, and studio teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Leading Creative and Studio Technology Operations: Manage and enhance the technological infrastructure supporting creative and studio functions.
  • Managing Brand Photography Operations: Oversee the technical aspects of brand photography, ensuring seamless integration with marketing strategies.
  • Overseeing Tools Such as Airtable and Creative Force: Ensure the effective deployment and utilization of key tools and platforms.
  • Brainstorming and Conceptualizing with Cross-Functional Partners: Collaborate with diverse teams to foster innovative solutions.
  • Fostering Innovation in Applications: Integrate emerging technologies and best practices to advance application development.
  • Creating Detailed Product Outlines and Roadmaps: Develop comprehensive plans and strategies for product development and deployment.
  • Demonstrating and Testing Prototypes and Applications: Conduct thorough testing and showcase both prototypes and finished products.
  • Incorporating User Feedback: Utilize feedback to refine and enhance application usability and functionality.
  • Providing Robust End-User Support: Offer extensive support to clients and internal teams to ensure optimal usage of technologies.
  • Executing Debugging and Refinement Processes: Perform detailed debugging, code improvement, and application redesign tasks.
  • Documenting Development Workflows: Maintain comprehensive records of development processes, procedures, and application version histories.
  • Staying Informed on MarTech Advances: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in marketing technology and incorporate them into operations.
  • Implementing New Tools: Roll out new to enhance team productivity and creativity.
  • Collaborating with Creative Operations and Product Management: Work closely with these teams to align technologies and processes.
  • Overseeing Technology for Creative Marketing and Photo Studio Creative: Ensure technologies and processes are aligned for maximum efficiency.
  • Working with the On-Site Studio Team: Ensure new enhancements align with the broader technology stack of the organization.
  • Running Sprints for New Technologies: Investigate and implement new technologies such as AI through focused sprint sessions.


Skill/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Relevant work experience
