We are seeking a Product Owner on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

The Product Owner, Onsite Ad Products leads a cross-functional agile development team to bring to life new features and capabilities for Brand Partners within the retail media network. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to and delivering on the product roadmap for all ad products across the owned and operated channels. This will include developing new ad products as well as enhancing and supporting existing ad products to drive incremental ad spend and improve customer engagement.


Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: work alongside the Senior Manager, Ad Products to develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, users, strategic analytics, agency and vendor patterns to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of Brand Partner needs and market opportunities.
  • Prioritization: Lead an Agile Pod consisting of cross-functional team members including developers, architects, analysts, scrum masters, and designers in the iterative delivery of ad products.
  • Release Management: Coordinate with engineering, scrum master, quality assurance, and deployment teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, roadmap changes, upcoming releases, and leading and lagging key performance indicators
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the retail media and adtech spaces to inform product decisions
  • Performance Analysis: Define and track leading and lagging KPIs to measure the success of ad products and identify areas for improvement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, account management, marketing, advertising operations, measurement, audience strategy, ecommerce, UX design, and other teams to drive product development and success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospectives and feedback sessions to continuously improve on team processes, product quality, delivery efficiency, and adoption


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, computer science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a digital product owner or digital product manager in CPG retailer, eCommerce, or related industry
  • 2+ years of experience working a retail media network, preferably for a CPG retailer
  • Experience, comfortability, and success working within Agile framework
  • Ability to communicate relevant details and influence decision making based on the audience and desired outcome, from senior leaders to individual team members responsible for execution
  • Strong understanding of advertising technology and/or marketing technology concepts, with previous experience in the advertising industry preferred
  • Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships across teams (e.g. Product, UX, Design, eCommerce, Merchandising, and Development)
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to clearly organize large goals into an iterative, actionable, and achievable plan
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, deal with ambiguity, and remain focused on execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-sovling skills, with data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Self motivated and reliable, with a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Amplience, GAM, DV360, CM360, Kevel, Skai, Epsilon, Media Math, Microsoft Ads, and/or Criteo is a plus
