***The salary range for this position is $22.01 - $26.10 per hour.***

We are seeking a Product Research Associate on a contract basis to support our customer's ongoing business needs. The nature of the work is focused on the research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. Carries out foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics, which fuels and supports the overall innovation agenda resulting in the creation of functionally superior creative products. Utilizes biomechanical and physiological equipment to conduct leading-edge experiments to collect data contributing to the research and development of new technologies. Demonstrates a high level of initiative in performing experiments independently. Summarizes data from research. Assists in the preparation of reports to present results of independent experiments and findings at the department level. This role will be onsite in Beaverton, OR.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute research projects (both applied and basic research) aimed at delivering proven performance insights that will lead to technologically innovative footwear, apparel and equipment that are globally relevant
  • Conduct studies under the guidance of perception scientists following prescribed procedures and methodology
  • Be familiar with the research tools used by the company Sports Research Lab staff for perception research

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience performing research with human subjects is preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be onsite in Beaverton, OR.
