Job description
Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.
We are seeking a Production Assistant on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general support to production departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, printing, copying, and organizing production documents
- Support office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and coordinating basic logistics
- Help distribute materials such as scripts, call sheets, schedules, and other production paperwork
- Assist with on-set tasks, including setup, breakdown, and running errands as needed
- Support production coordination by helping track tasks, timelines, and daily needs
- Maintain organization of work areas and ensure supplies are stocked and available
- Communicate updates and follow instructions from production staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Entry-level role; prior production experience is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Basic computer skills (email, documents, scheduling tools)
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude
