Our Customer is seeking a Production Developer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy engagement marketing campaigns end-to-end across multiple channels, including email, in-product banners, push notifications, SMS, landing pages, and forms/surveys.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, scope requests, and recommend technical solutions prior to campaign development.
  • Translate business requirements into campaign logic, workflows, and executable marketing automation solutions.
  • Define and build target audiences using platform filters, custom logic, user attributes, and lifecycle stages.
  • Validate audience segments and campaign data using SQL before deployment.
  • Write SQL queries to pull lists, validate data, perform audience QA, and support ad hoc business questions.
  • Develop logic-based customer journeys and event-triggered campaigns within marketing automation platforms.
  • Identify scalable solutions for recurring campaigns and production challenges.
  • Manage and maintain campaign-related data sources and integrated marketing technology tools.
  • Develop, manage, and troubleshoot forms for lead capture, registrations, and survey workflows.
  • Execute campaigns within tight timelines while maintaining high production quality standards.
  • Recommend appropriate channels, tools, and personalization strategies for campaign objectives.
  • Manage multiple campaign requests and prioritize work across stakeholders.
  • Escalate risks, conflicts, or dependencies when necessary.
  • Support stakeholders through training, documentation, and system access guidance.
  • Troubleshoot issues across marketing technology platforms, content management systems, and automation tools.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced experience building campaigns within enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or similar tools.
  • Advanced expertise in audience segmentation and targeting.
  • Strong SQL proficiency with experience validating data, building audience segments, pulling lists, and supporting campaign execution.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical campaign solutions and development plans.
  • Experience building logic-based and event-triggered customer journeys.
  • Experience managing and validating integrated marketing data sources and platform integrations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to production quality.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret ambiguous requirements and determine practical solutions.
  • Experience working with marketing technology ecosystems, including CMS platforms, ESPs, marketing automation tools, and form builders.
  • HTML and CSS proficiency for email and landing page troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to answer business questions using data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new tools, troubleshoot issues, and operate independently in fast-paced environments.
