We are seeking a Program Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is a hybrid setup in San Diego, CA.
You’ll be part of a small nimble team and will support the team with program/project management, business operations, operational improvements, communications and event/visit planning while one of the team members is on a leave of absence.
Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead and execute complex programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of results
- Business Operations: Develop and manage operating mechanics, analyze and improve operating processes
- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate program updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders. Create and share executive level updates in slide, written and verbal formats
- Event preparation: Support the team in researching, planning and executing events such as partner visits and program launches
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, build consensus, and drive successful program implementation
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address challenges, demonstrating strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in program management, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of business/team/programs operations principles and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt your style to a wide range of stakeholders and situations, and to changing business priorities and environments
- Critical thinking skills, to be able to assess problems from multiple angles, come up with novel solutions, anticipate obstacles and identify their solutions
- Experience in the tax, accounting, call center and/or or BPO industries is a bonus
- Ability to create a structure approach to managing new and existing programs
- Ability to stay organized and juggle among multiple competing priorities
- Clear communication - written, verbal, slides
- Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholder
Preferred:
- Experience working on the supply side of a two-sided network (e.g. drivers for Uber are the supply side of a two sided network)
- Experience in the tax, accounting, call center and/or or BPO industries
