Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Program Manager to join them on a contract basis.

Etsy is the global marketplace for unique and creative goods. We build, power, and evolve the tools and technologies that connect entrepreneurs with buyers around the world. As an Etsy employee, you’ll tackle unique problems alongside talented coworkers committed to Keeping Commerce Human. We're large enough that you'll focus on meaningful, complex challenges, but small enough that you can make a rewarding impact

About The Team

The Talent Partnerships (TAPs) team enables people and teams at Etsy to be nimble and drive business growth by providing thoughtfully-matched contingent talent from our vendor partners. The contractor in this role will join a team of 10 and report directly to the Manager of Talent Partnerships.

About The Role

As a Program Manager on Talent Partnerships (TAPs), this individual will be a key partner to both our business teams and vendors, supporting hiring managers in securing the right contractor talent while also managing procurement operations. This role requires balancing multiple contractor requests; maintaining strong vendor relationships; ensuring smooth day-to-day procurement processes; and collaborating with hiring managers, vendors, and internal teams.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine contingent talent needs, draft job descriptions, and create requisitions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent job requisitions with varying timelines and requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, vendors, and hiring managers.
  • Educate hiring managers on program policies, requisition entry, candidate review, and contractor time approval within our Vendor Management System (VMS).
  • Support managers with contractor performance concerns, extensions, feedback, offboarding, and assignment terminations.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and oversee the full contractor recruiting lifecycle in our VMS.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships by providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Lead procurement tasks, including reviewing invoices, reconciling incorrect invoices, creating purchase orders, submitting contracts in Coupa, and ensuring accurate financial tracking.
  • Manage data entry of receipts, contract values, and statuses into team trackers.
  • Liaise with Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, and Procurement.
  • Organize and maintain data integrity across internal documentation and software systems.

Of course, this is just a sample of the work the role will require. You should assume that the role will encompass other tasks, too, and that the job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, procurement operations, or client relationship management, including experience with a Vendor Management System (VMS), such as VNDLY.
  • Proven ability to manage procurement processes, including submitting contracts and reviewing invoices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience using Coupa for internal procurement operations.
  • Workday experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including creating formulas for data analysis.
  • Experience working effectively with remote teams and business partners.

Hours and Location

  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
  • 100% Remote - US

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
