Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for an experienced Program Manager, Talent Partnerships to join them on a contract basis.

About The Team
The Talent Partnerships (TAPs) team enables people and teams at Etsy to be nimble and drive business growth with thoughtfully-matched contingent talent from our vendor partners. The contractor in this role will join a team of 9.

About The Role
As a Program Manager on Talent Partnerships (TAPs), the individual in this role will be a partner to our business and vendors. Their primary responsibility will be to support hiring managers with finding the right contractor talent for their team’s needs. The program manager will balance multiple contractor requests, relationships, and tasks each day, and work closely with hiring teams and the TAPs team to offer support wherever it’s needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to determine contingent talent needs and prepare job descriptions and requisitions for all positions
  • Own and fill multiple (6-10+), concurrent job requisitions for hiring managers with differing needs and timelines
  • Coordinate all interviews with candidate, supplier, and hiring manager
  • Educate hiring managers on program, policies, requisition entry, candidate review and contractor time approval in our Vendor Management System (VMS)
  • Assist managers with contingent talent issues, feedback, offboarding, and assignment terminations
  • Ensure accurate data entry and manage the end-to-end contractor recruiting life cycle in our recruitment platform (VMS)
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendor partners by providing timely updates and feedback on their candidates and partnership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, and IT teams during the contingent talent lifecycle
  • Organize and maintain data integrity while using internal documentation and various software systems

Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.

Requirements
Must-Haves
  • 3-5+ years of staffing, recruiting, or client relationship management experience, including experience working with VNDLY or a similar Vendor Management System (VMS)
  • Strong Collaboration skills, including:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams, naturally building rapport and forming new professional relationships
  • An actively optimistic, can-do attitude
  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills, including:
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of how to manage competing priorities and how to respond accordingly
  • Excellent initiative and problem solving skills, including strong self-motivation and comfort working through ambiguity, seeking clarification, and asking questions to quickly solve challenges
  • Experience using GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Meet, Slides)
    Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience effectively working with remote team members and business partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (comfortable creating formulas to gather and analyze data).
An Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
  • All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.
