Our customer is seeking a contract Program Manager to help support their business needs. This role is onsite in Burlingame, CA.

This Program Manager will lead the Executive Briefing Program Speaker Bureau. The Briefing Program connects the partners, prospects and customers to the company's vision for the world’s next computing platform, while strengthening trust and confidence in Meta as a technology partner. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, recruiting, and managing the global speaker community.

This role reports to the Global Lead, Executive Experience Programs and as the primary point of contact for the Executive Briefing Program speaker network you will be responsible for overseeing the speaker program operationally end to end; ensuring that we provide a world class experience for both the external Briefing attendees and the SME speakers alike.

The role requires that this individual be knowledgeable and confident when interacting with executives and have the ability to match speaker talent with the right Executive Briefings. This individual must be able to work well in a geographically-distributed, small team environment and cross-functionally across the company, have the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with internal and external clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop an end to end global speaker bureau strategy for the Executive Briefing Program including overseeing outreach, management and measurement
  • Identify, recruit and manage a diverse internal network of thought leaders and speakers on topics ranging from immersive technologies to AI
  • Oversee the “call for speakers” process including the review and approval management of Briefing slots to ensure high quality and diverse thought leaders across every Executive Briefing
  • Partner and support Briefing Delivery Leads in the identification and sourcing of Speakers aligned to Briefing themes and outcomes
  • Provide pre-briefing support to the subject matter expert speakers, including facilitating prep calls, content reviews, and presentation walkthroughs
  • Own on-the-day and on-site coordination and communication with Briefing Speakers
  • Capture feedback and insights on Briefing Speakers to identify trends and opportunity areas for improvement and growth
  • Design program SMART goals and reporting process which delivers actionable insights, enabling informed decisions to optimize Briefing CSAT and engagement success
  • Actively contribute to the cross-team efforts to create a world-class Briefing program which accelerates sales opportunities and elevates partner relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to identify new ways to drive best practice, trends and thought leadership in the Executive Briefings
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in a program management role, specifically leading speaker or briefing content programs.
  • Proven track record of building successful programs for high-profile developer, technology, B2B SaaS sales, or channels teams.
  • Experience in managing or building speaker programs (highly desired)
  • Success criteria include the creation, launch, and continuous improvement of the Speaker Bureau program, along with effective recruitment and alignment of SME speakers for executive briefings.
  • Experience as a business partner working with senior leadership in an international environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on measuring and continuously improving program effectiveness.
  • Strong operational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams, including those based in the Bay Area and London.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with fluency in English.
  • Leadership capability in guiding cross-functional teams through complex projects.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, especially senior leadership and briefing speakers.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on support for speakers during briefing sessions (half to full-day events), including feedback collection in collaboration with Briefing Leads.
  • Communications and PR experience is an asset, enhancing ability to manage executive-level briefings.
  • Flexible availability to work across time zones (Bay Area and London).
  • Experience working at top tech companies (e.g., Google, Apple, Nvidia, Stripe) in a similar briefing or speaker program capacity is a strong plus.
