Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a Project Coordinator (District Sales Manager) on a contract basis to help support their business needs.


In this role, you will act as a consultant to the dealers by working together with them on the development and implementation of their business plans. You will be working directly with the dealers and will be involved in a variety of activities, including implementation and development of marketing initiatives, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, market analysis, and training.



Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, coach, and consult with dealers to ensure monthly and yearly sales objectives are achieved, along with other dealership goals.
  • Manage dealer compliance with programs and administer company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in implementing digital marketing and advertising campaigns at the dealer level.
  • Support improvement of retail website performance and lead generation activities.
  • Analyze dealer sales, local market conditions (registrations, dealer effectiveness, lost sales), and competition to identify sales opportunities.
  • Conduct sales and training activities, including monthly customer meetings (remote and/or on-site).
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, customer demographics, and competitive automotive makes and models.
  • Assist in resolving dealer and customer issues.
  • Coach dealers on customer retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Entry-level; 2+ years of sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Can work with technical systems (can be taught), but the ability to adapt and learn them quickly would be preferable
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact activities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence business partners.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Must be proficient with MS tools, such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Proficient in computer skills to develop, maintain, and analyze data.
  • Demonstrated independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.


Preferred:

  • Dealership or automotive industry experience.


Hours and Location:

  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week.
  • Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) in Alpharetta, GA
