We are seeking a Project Manager, on a contract basis to drive the onboarding and launch team’s top priority strategic merchant projects, internal & external communication, and milestone timelines. This role focuses on the merchants' launch experience where you’ll have opportunities to improve efficiency, time-to-value, and internal processes. You'll work cross-functionally between sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics teams to build a delightful experience for merchants. You will report to the Associate Manager, Strategy & Operations and work within the Platform Operations organization. This primarily remote with some requirements to be on-site at a corporate office. Additionally, the role may require up to 10% travel to merchant launches around the US.
This role is 100% remote but prefer candidates that live in New York City or San Francisco. Would also consider Denver, Chicago, Phoenix or Austin.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Create and execute plans for merchant onboarding strategy, building a seamless onboarding experience that delights merchants Implement programs across process, product, and people to move the numbers
- Be a product expert with a high level of proficiency in all associated integrations
- Create merchant training materials to encourage staff understanding and adoption
- Perform quality assurance testing to ensure full functionality of ordering site prior to launch
- Train merchant staff on effectively using the platform
- Identify opportunities to improve upon existing merchant workflows to encourage adoption and maximize revenue
- Be able to achieve immediate results and adapt in an evolving work environment
- Look for ways to improve and want to shape the direction of the company
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years of work experience in project management or account management
- SQL experience
- Able to complete tasks accurately, effectively and on time with superb attention to detail
- Experience working successfully cross functionally with individual contributors
- Excellent external and internal customer presentation skills
- Driven/led a successful (measured by adoption) business opportunity, developed process improvements, and enabled stakeholders on process changes.
- Experience working successfully cross functionally with other departments
