Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.


We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote (EST preferred).



Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including business/system requirements, design, build, test, release, and post-release validation.
  • Develop schedules, track action items, monitor risks and issues, document approvals, and deliver status reports.
  • Collaborate with program managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to manage integration workstreams.
  • Manage Source to Pay enhancement projects focused on sourcing, supplier management, and procurement improvements.
  • Apply strong analytical and leadership skills to balance resource constraints and keep projects on track.
  • Partner with Change Management teams to coordinate communications, training materials, and scheduling.
  • Manage diverse, cross-functional project teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technology program/project management experience.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (Visio, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently or within small integration-focused teams.
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-starter mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and develop resolutions.
