Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.


We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to execute Source-to-Pay projects utilizing an Agile methodology. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects through requirements gathering, design, build, testing, release, and post-release validation.
  • Develop project schedules, manage action items, track risks and issues, document approvals, and deliver detailed status reports.
  • Maintain meeting minutes and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program managers, stakeholders, and technology teams to manage multiple integration workstreams.
  • Actively manage Source-to-Pay enhancement projects with a focus on sourcing, supplier management, and procurement improvements.
  • Apply analytical and leadership skills to balance business and resource constraints, providing innovative solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Partner with Change Management teams to support communications, training, and scheduling needs.
  • Manage diverse project teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technology program/project management experience.
  • Ability to work remotely.


Preferred:

  • Experience with Office 365, including Visio, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, either independently or in small teams.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and develop effective solutions.
