Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to support the rapid growth of the company's Warehouse as a Service (WaaS) initiatives by launching new business lines within the company and working with operators to resolve on-the-ground challenges. This role owns project planning and implementation for multiple WaaS launches, including leading an array of internal and external stakeholders and managing operator escalations. The candidate in this role will report to the Manager of the company's warehousing as a service team in the new verticals organization. This role is 100% remote.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and refine project plans to successfully launch and expand new business lines
• Lead and direct activities of diverse project teams that include internal and external partners such as construction, culinary, marketing, training, supply chain, operators, equipment suppliers, and recruiting
• Work directly with local operators to resolve on-the-ground challenges, thinking strategically about the best course of action for the business while ensuring a positive employee experience
• Utilize knowledge of WaaS operations to help build new processes to refine procedures

Must Haves:

• 2-3 years of experience managing highly cross-functional and fast-paced projects
• Strong project management skills, including creating and managing project plans and leading several different projects at once
• Excellent communication skills that allow to connect with a diverse array of stakeholders, and aren’t afraid to escalate timeline risks and other challenges to leadership
• Strong cross-functional skills and experience directing the activities of a diverse project team
• Comfortable solving ambiguous challenges, including working directly with on-the-ground operators

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain management, or a related field

Hours & Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
