Seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join its Project Management Team. Our offices are located in Fenton, MO. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs. This role is part of a team that is responsible for providing management that is accountable for all phases of a project, including schedule and financial performance as well as customer satisfaction.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Projects, provide leadership to cross functional project teams and serve as the primary liaison for all activities between us and its customers. You will handle all customer related activities, both technical - with the appropriate support of internal subject matter experts - and commercial - to the authority limits of the position, balance overall project budget and cost control and communicate financial status and contributions/cast flow projections monthly to executive management, and work with various groups within ours to establish the initial project schedule and to continually provide feedback to the Project Scheduling group to improve the scheduling process and its effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS. We want the person selected for this role to be successful! The following qualifications are essential to be effective in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, an MBA or equivalent experience; with relevant management experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within the engineering or a technically relevant industry with a track record of successfully managing $10M+ fixed price projects;
- Excellent leadership, talent building, communication, and customer-service skills;
- Highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team player; and
- Proficiency in English.
