Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in NYC.


Hours/Shift:

  • Feb - Monday - Friday, 9 am-5 pm
  • March - Wednesday to Sunday, 9 am-5 pm


Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive relocation plans, timelines, and space allocation strategies
  • Create detailed floor plans and coordinate departmental move sequencing
  • Serve as the primary liaison between moving vendors, contractors, and facilities teams
  • Facilitate coordination meetings and ensure vendor compliance with safety and building requirements
  • Manage elevator reservations, loading dock schedules, and building access requirements
  • Coordinate with building management on security protocols and utility needs
  • Implement quality assurance and quality control processes for equipment and furniture handling
  • Conduct inspections and maintain documentation for all move activities and outcomes
  • Lead weekend relocation operations to minimize business disruption during standard hours
  • Coordinate extended-hour operations and emergency response protocols


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate relocations, facilities management, or similar environments
  • Proven experience in vendor management and logistics coordination
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software
  • Professional background in project management
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours as required
  • Experience using ticketing systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in active relocation environments, including walking extensively and lifting up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
