We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in NYC.

Schedule: Tuesday – Sunday. Require flexibility – weekly schedule is flexible.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site supervision of construction activities during after-hours and weekends.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and timeline requirements.
  • Address immediate concerns or obstacles during off-hours operations to maintain project continuity.
  • Serve as the primary after-hours point of contact for clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Make real-time decisions to uphold project momentum and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure scope alignment with overall project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Support project coordination by assisting in schedule adherence, quality control, and workflow transitions.
  • Prepare detailed weekly reports summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate records of after-hours and weekend activities.
  • Relay critical updates to the Senior Project Manager to support ongoing operations.
  • Maintain open communication with all stakeholders during evenings and weekends.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in construction or project management, preferably within commercial real estate.
  • Ability to make informed decisions independently while aligning with broader project objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and commercial real estate project execution.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
