We are seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate non-IT projects across areas such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product rollouts
- Coordinate projects by creating detailed plans, setting goals, and directing the integration of technical activities
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients and stakeholders
- Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate team members as needed
- Oversee the development and ongoing maintenance of staff competence
- Analyze technology, resource requirements, and market demand to assess project feasibility
- Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, quality standards, and objectives are met
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
- PMI or PMP certification preferred
- 0–2 years of relevant project management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management
- Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
- Basic proficiency with computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio
