Our Customer is seeking a Project Manager, Privacy Operations, on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support, and provide quality responses to incoming requests from various stakeholders supporting substantive privacy and data protection operations within SLA.
  • Scope and document new and existing end-to-end processes and workflows that educate, inform, and serve as a source of truth
  • Oversee cookie compliance workflows, including intake, review, approval, and implementation of new and updated cookies.
  • Partner with Legal, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure cookie usage aligns with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA).
  • Manage the cookie consent management platform (CMP), ensuring banners, preference centers, and scripts are accurate and functioning as expected.
  • Identify and map workflow dependencies, prioritizing areas that will be most impactful and valuable for the most critical work
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, test, iterate, and maintain documentation and workflows in near real-time
  • Project manage a cross-functional working group that shares key initiatives and escalations related to Privacy.
  • Manage and run successful recurring partner meetings, drafting and soliciting agenda items
  • Represent the Privacy team and drive (as needed) engagement with stakeholders through established meetings, forums, and other venues/methods of communication.
  • Provide support on QBRs and MBRs with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and/or provide appropriate Privacy views to stakeholder teams.
  • Respond to/follow up on Team requests from central Trust organizing functions (i.e., Chief of Staff, Strategy & Operations, Business Operations).


Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-6 years of solid Project Management experience (PMP certification preferred).
  • Experience supporting Privacy Programs, with specific exposure to cookie compliance and consent management.
  • Bias for action and problem-solving through ambiguous circumstances with multiple stakeholders
  • Process creation, implementation, and execution
  • Solid business acumen – Metrics, Strategy, Ops, etc.
  • Experience preparing presentations, agendas, and written updates as needed, and clearly communicating findings from initiatives and projects to management.
  • Experience with Jira/Atlassian products preferred.
  • CIPP certification preferred.
