We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Operations Coordinator on a contract basis to lead the coordination of a special project supporting the growth of the in-store business. This role will oversee the mobilization of approximately 80 testers across 6 cities to complete large-scale test transactions, covering 2,000+ stores per city. The coordinator will ensure operational excellence, clear communication, and accurate data tracking throughout the project.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, organize, and manage testers performing in-store test transactions across multiple cities
- Distribute store lists and assign stores to testers, ensuring complete and balanced coverage across test locations
- Track progress and validate completion data in real time using Google Sheets
- Follow up on missing, incomplete, or incorrect submissions to maintain accuracy
- Maintain daily communication with testers via email, chat, or other internal tools, providing clear instructions and troubleshooting issues
- Create, manage, and update tracking sheets to monitor assignments, completions, and payments, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with internal operations and strategy teams to provide status updates, highlight risks, and share insights from the tests
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency with Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, filters, and conditional formatting
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage high-volume, detail-heavy workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing and motivating a large distributed workforce (e.g., gig workers, contractors, or field staff)
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Prior experience in operations, logistics, or field coordination strongly preferred
