Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator – Merchant Catalog Quality & Operations on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of catalog quality initiatives by managing intake of independent projects and driving quality improvements across grocery merchants and business lines
  • Analyze catalogs to diagnose quality issues, prioritize fixes, and execute remediation workflows
  • Lead coordination of a special project supporting in-store operations and fulfillment quality
  • Organize and execute merchant audits and testing efforts across regional merchants, both in person and in partnership with delivery partners
  • Validate in-store findings against merchant data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and operational issues
  • Maintain detailed tracking of progress, results, and follow-ups using spreadsheets and internal tools
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, integrations, and related teams to enable accurate merchant data
  • Identify and surface trends, risks, and recurring issues impacting merchant operations and fulfillment quality
  • Create and iterate playbooks and write retrospectives to scale repeatable fixes and improve processes
  • Provide performance readouts on quality improvements and support lightweight testing to measure impact and effectiveness

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to work comfortably in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with strong attention to detail
  • Experience supporting catalog quality, data quality, or operational quality initiatives
  • Experience conducting audits or structured testing workflows
  • Prior exposure to grocery, retail, or e-commerce operations
  • Self-directed work style with ownership of tasks from intake through execution
  • Strong operational mindset with a bias toward action and follow-through
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to root causes
  • Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including data manipulation, discrepancy identification, and trend reporting
  • Basic understanding of SQL with the ability to read and manipulate queries for analysis
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing parallel workstreams
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, product, or similar teams
  • Understanding of e-commerce storefront quality and customer experience expectations
