We are a leading provider of curated artwork for commercial spaces nationwide. We collaborate with artists to bring their work to diverse settings, including retail malls, creating vibrant and engaging spaces that captivate visitors and customers alike.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Contractor to serve as a consultant for promoting a retail mall art collection in the greater DC area.

As the PR Contractor, you will be instrumental in devising and executing strategies to increase awareness, drive foot traffic, and generate excitement around our curated art installation in a retail mall setting.

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive PR strategies tailored to each retail mall art collection, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and features for our retail mall art collections.
  • Press Releases: Draft compelling press releases and media pitches to announce new art installations, special events, artist spotlights, and other newsworthy developments.
  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate promotional events, exhibitions, and artist showcases within retail malls to engage the local community and drive traffic to the art installations.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for press materials, social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms to highlight the unique stories behind each art collection and foster audience engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in PR, communications, or marketing, preferably within the art, design, or retail industries.
  • Strong network of media contacts and demonstrated success in securing press coverage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for storytelling.
  • Creative thinking and strategic planning abilities to develop impactful PR campaigns.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and social media for PR purposes.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies based on evolving business needs and market trends.
  • Passion for art, design, and creating immersive experiences in retail environments.
  • Washington D.C. Area Preferred
