Job description
We're in search of a Public Relations (PR) Manager to work in coordination with our Marketing Manager for our dynamic boutique social media agency. This is an ongoing, freelance, 90% remote position based in Atlanta, and it involves around 15 hours per month with the potential to expand.
The PR Manager will be responsible for enhancing our brand image and creating strong relationships with media, influencers, and other industry-related personnel.
You will report directly to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the marketing team to seamlessly align PR initiatives with the overall marketing goals.
Ideal candidates have experience:

Developing and executing PR strategies tailored to the needs of a small business or digital marketing agency

Collaborating with the Marketing Manager to align PR campaigns with the broader marketing plan

Creating and managing press releases, pitches, and media kits

Engaging with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media professionals to generate positive coverage

Monitoring and analyzing media coverage to gauge PR campaign effectiveness

Writing, editing, and managing PR copy for various channels, including website content, newsletters, and landing pages

Working with tools to manage media relations and track PR analytics

Creating talking points for the CEO and/or other members of the team for conferences, podcast interviews, and engaging with press as required

Building relationships with existing and potential B2B and/or B2G clients through effective communication and content strategies

Assisting in the submission of applications for marketing and industry awards and speaking engagements.
