Job description

Core Responsibilities

· Manage the purchasing plan, track and identify the needs for replenishing grilling accessories in a timely manner and review with Supply Chain Manager.

· Analyze historical and forecasted demand data to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and minimize stockouts or overages.

· Release and monitor purchase orders using ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, following contractual pricing, delivery terms, and resolving quality or delivery issues.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, product development, and finance teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.

· Communicate purchasing problems, corrective actions, and supply risks to Supply Chain Manager and relevant cross functional teams

· Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, and cost savings.

· Investigate discrepancies in PO receiving, inventory, recommending and implementing corrective actions

· Support cost improvement and process optimization initiatives through data-driven insights

· Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and ethical procurement practices.

· Participate in and lead process improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and support lean initiatives

· Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance


Essential Skills

  • Data Analysis - Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and support decision-making. Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and ERP reporting tools. Present data using charts, tables, and dashboards for management reviews.
  • Purchase Forecasting - Use historical data, market trends, and business forecasts to plan and procure products strategically, balancing cost and availability.
  • Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge - Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and production planning.
  • Financial Acumen - Analyze cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of company resources.
  • ERP Systems - Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) for order management, inventory tracking, and reporting.
  • KPI Analysis - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in purchasing and inventory management.
  • Decision-Making - Make timely, data-driven purchasing decisions that align with company goals and operational needs.
  • Project Management - Coordinate purchasing activities for multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Time Management - Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication - Clearly communicate purchasing plans, requirements, and results to internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Innovation - Identify and implement process improvements, stay current on market trends, and adapt purchasing strategies as needed

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.

· 5–7 years of progressive experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain management roles.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Epicor P21, NetSuite and Power BI

· Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

· Proven track record in inventory optimization, demand planning, and cross-functional project leadership.
