QA Tester

We are seeking a manual tester to assist with weekly quality assurance checks ahead of our software releases. Majority of work will occur over the weekend, with some weekday commitments.

Tasks will include:

  1. Participate in 1-2 set engineering meetings every week to be aware of new and upcoming features (~1 hr)
  2. Participate in Slack and Linear threads and conversations around new product releases
  3. Assist with QA testing over the weekend (~6-8 hrs) -
  4. Completing a checklist of actions in a testing account to ensure functionality is working as expected.
  5. Using RainforestQA’s intuitive no-code UI to create visual regression tests.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Can complete a defined QA list (~300 items) each Saturday (code is pushed into staging on Friday night and is released on Sunday). Bugs/challenges/issues are flagged in the document (we'll take care of the rest).
  2. Willing to use the RainforestQA no-code platform to create end-to-end tests (this is very intuitive)
  3. Detail-focused - this role will require meticulous testing and attention to detail
  4. Strong project manager - can take loose instructions & build out systems & processes
  5. Willing to continue working together beyond an initial period if it's a strong fit on both ends
