QA Tester

QA Manual Tester & Automated Tester

**Candidates MUST be available to work UK or EU Timezone hours from 9 am – 5 pm**

Our client is looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing and to help develop an automated test suite.

You will be responsible for testing software compliance to documented specifications and requirements, finding and reporting bugs, and assisting with developing test plans and cases.

In this role, you should have a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within our cross-functional teams, all working remotely. They are looking for a team member who is passionate about quality, analytical, and possesses strong problem solving-skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create documentation of testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Ability to get on regular Zoom calls with developers, PMs and BAs during the day to discuss and triage issues
• Conduct pre- and post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements and Skills

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Proven experience as software QA tester, desktop and mobile apps
• Knowledge of Playwright scripting (in Javascript) for automated testing
• Experience and proficiency using Jira
• Ability to troubleshoot and document errors and inconsistencies
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity and experience with regression testing, load testing, pen testing a bonus
