Job description

We are seeking a Qualitative UX Researcher on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers within an integrated product pod to develop new products
  • Develop and execute research roadmaps independently and collaboratively
  • Lead research across all phases of the product development lifecycle, including formative, iterative design, and evaluative studies
  • Conduct qualitative research to uncover latent user needs and validate early product concepts
  • Support product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning with research insights
  • Manage external research vendors to scale research efforts and support team priorities
  • Synthesize data into clear insights and compelling stories to influence product direction and decisions


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field such as HCI, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
  • Extensive qualitative research experience required
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to use numbers to support hypotheses and insights
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills to influence diverse audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and balance multiple priorities
  • Strong decision-making and autonomy in fast-paced environments
  • Strong mentoring and feedback skills
  • Experience with quantitative research methods preferred
  • Experience working with AI technologies and wearable products is preferred
