Job description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Operator on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Chandler, AZ.

As a Quality Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving product quality standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform quality control inspections on incoming stock, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet established specifications and standards
  • Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products
  • Document and report inspection results, including non-conformances, and assist in implementing corrective actions
  • Monitor production processes to identify potential areas for improvement and propose process optimization strategies.
  • Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and work instructions
  • Complete day to day admin duties
  • Book waste accurately into the waste system following the agreed process
  • Operate production test equipment on an as needed basis to support quality and reliability needs
  • Stage material for, load and unload, reliability environmental chambers as part of ongoing reliability testing

Must-haves:
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience as a Quality Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including Google Docs and Google Sheets, and standard data entry systems
  • Previous experience operating automated test systems is a plus
