Job description

We are seeking a Quality Operator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in Chandler, AZ.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform 100% visual inspection of in-process and finished displays using high-power microscopes to ensure compliance with cosmetic and technical standards.
  • Handle and manipulate small, fragile optical components with precision and steady hand coordination.
  • Accurately document inspection results and non-conformances using internal tracking tools and reporting systems.
  • Maintain strict cleanroom gowning and operational protocols to prevent contamination of sensitive hardware.
  • Independently manage daily inspection throughput and prioritize tasks based on production schedules.
  • Operate production test equipment to support Quality and Reliability engineering evaluations.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong near-vision acuity with the ability to perform prolonged microscopic inspection.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Quality Inspector role.
  • Experience working in a controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive, is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify sub-millimeter defects.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage inspection workflows efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate technical discrepancies clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor fabrication, medical device manufacturing, or aerospace industries.
  • Familiarity with quality reporting and non-conformance tracking tools.
