Our Customer is seeking a Quality Operator on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role is on-site in Chandler, AZ.


As a Quality Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving product quality standards.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform 100% visual inspection of in-process and finished displays using high-power microscopes to ensure compliance with cosmetic and technical standards
  • Handle and manipulate small, fragile optical components with precision and steady-hand coordination
  • Accurately document inspection results, defects, and non-conformance reports using internal tracking systems and digital tools
  • Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom gowning procedures and contamination control protocols
  • Independently manage daily inspection priorities and throughput based on production schedules
  • Operate production test equipment to support Quality and Reliability engineering evaluations
  • Communicate technical discrepancies and inspection findings clearly to relevant teams
  • Support quality assurance processes and continuous product compliance efforts


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong near-vision acuity and ability to perform prolonged microscopic inspections
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Inspector role
  • Experience working in semiconductor fabrication, medical device manufacturing, aerospace, or similar high-precision manufacturing environments is preferred
  • Experience working in controlled cleanroom environments
  • Strong manual dexterity and steady-hand coordination for handling delicate optical components
  • Proficiency with computers and digital documentation tools
  • Experience using Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately document inspection findings and technical discrepancies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting quality and reliability engineering evaluations
  • Experience using internal tracking or defect management systems
  • Experience working with optical, semiconductor, or precision electronic display components
