We are seeking a Quantitative UX Researcher on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver new products
  • Develop and execute research roadmaps independently and in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Lead research studies across all phases of the product development lifecycle, including formative, iterative, and evaluative research
  • Conduct formative research to uncover latent user needs and opportunity areas for new product development
  • Conduct iterative design research to shape early concepts into testable prototypes
  • Conduct evaluative research to refine products and support readiness for launch
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights that influence product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to support hypotheses and product direction
  • Manage research vendors to augment internal research capacity and execution


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior–related field such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, economics, or a related discipline
  • Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to form hypotheses and support research conclusions
  • Strong hypothesis-driven research approach with demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills to gain alignment across diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and balance competing demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience mentoring others and providing constructive feedback
  • Prior experience in a product research role within a fast-paced product development environment

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working on AI-enabled technologies or wearable devices
  • Expertise in quantitative research methods
  • Experience in a similar research organization and product development environment preferred
