We are seeking a Receptionist on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Huntsville, AL.


Primary responsibilities include greeting and checking in customers and guests, issuing photo ID and access control badges, and maintaining building security. This role serves as the first point of contact and represents the client to all visitors.


The position requires excellent customer service skills, a polished and professional demeanor, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility to work overtime as needed



Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in visitors, customers, and contractors
  • Create and issue photo ID and access control badges
  • Answer incoming phone calls and transfer calls to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with conference room scheduling and coordination
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Support on-site facilities management team members with assigned tasks
  • Submit service tickets for facility and building maintenance issues using Corrigo
  • Maintain and update the building contact list for key personnel
  • Update and maintain the Concierge Playbook and ensure a current copy is available at the reception desk at all times
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned
  • Maintain flexibility in responsibilities and working hours based on business needs


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of receptionist or administrative experience required
  • Associate degree or college coursework preferred
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced front desk or administrative environment preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills with a positive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Proficiency with desktop computing platforms and applications including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
