We are seeking a Receptionist on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Huntsville, AL.
We are seeking a Receptionist to support the reception desk in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is the first point of contact for visitors and customers, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and secure experience. The Receptionist will issue photo ID/access badges, manage guest check-ins, and provide administrative support while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in customers, visitors, and contractors, issuing photo ID and access badges.
- Ensure the security of the facility while serving as the professional “face” of the company.
- Answer incoming phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate employee.
- Assist with scheduling conference rooms.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
- Support the facilities management (FM) team with assignments and submit tickets for building maintenance using Corrigo.
- Maintain and update building contact lists for key personnel.
- Keep the Concierge Playbook updated and available at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility in responsibilities and work hours as business needs arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or college coursework preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Receptionist or Administrative experience required.
- Prior experience in a busy front desk or customer-facing environment strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- Positive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
