We are seeking a Receptionist on a contract basis to help support our Customer's ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Richmond, VA.



Responsibilities:

  • Greet, screen, and facilitate visitor/vendor access, including visitor sign-in
  • Provide basic site and client information to visitors
  • Issue visitor badges and temporary access cards as needed
  • Monitor and order office and building consumable supplies
  • Check and restock coffee and milk at the office stations
  • Issue building access cards to associates
  • Create workspace nameplates for new associates
  • Maintain an accurate office seating chart
  • Apply postage, distribute mail, and manage related mailroom tasks
  • Monitor voicemails from the site’s main number and route accordingly
  • Assist with scheduling shared resources (e.g., meeting rooms, pool cars)
  • Update digital signage with visitor and other site-related information
  • Organize and maintain the lobby and front desk areas
  • Track utility usage based on invoices across all sites
  • Support EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) with emergency rosters, maps, and evacuation kits
  • Resolve issues related to janitorial, mail, coffee services, and meeting rooms
  • Assist with receiving and dispatching work orders to technicians or vendors
  • Coordinate and schedule building maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the facility management team and support team operations
  • Anticipate and respond to client needs to enhance satisfaction
  • Identify and escalate potential risks to avoid disruptions to operations
  • Respond to information requests and communicate across all management levels
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and sound judgment
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Professional and courteous customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
