We are seeking a Receptionist on a contract basis to help support our Customer's ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Engage visitors, employees, and callers in a warm, helpful, and timely manner
- Serve as a central point of contact, offering information and wayfinding assistance across the campus, services, and activities
- Greet guests enthusiastically, anticipate their needs, and assist with arrivals, departures, and office orientations
- Monitor and maintain the front desk, lobby, and common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment that reflects brand standards
- Execute the badging process for employees, visitors, and third-party providers
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Skilled in using Excel for data entry and spreadsheet tasks
- Familiarity with printers and phone systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic understanding of customer service principles
*This is an on-call role in the case that an employee calls out or has a late arrival or early departure. The temp will have set hours with notice when the client has scheduled PTO requests.
