Job description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a Recruiter on a contract basis to evaluate candidates' resumes against position requirements. This role will schedule and conduct structured phone interviews with candidates using interviewing scripts, and document information in the system in a timely manner. This role is 100% remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop sources of qualified applicants
  • Review and evaluate applications for work history, education and training, salary desired, and other skills and abilities to determine qualification for employment
  • Conduct interviews
  • Administer tests
  • Check references and background
  • Inform applicants about job duties, responsibilities, pay, benefits, hours, working conditions, company policies, and other related information
  • Initiates job opening status reports to obtain approval to begin employment processes and to offer positions to selected applicants
  • Participate in recruitment and selection projects
  • Comply with local government regulations by administering employment practices within standard operating procedures
  • Assist in the development of cost-effective recruiting programs including but not limited to advertising and career fairs to fill open positions
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
