- Remote
Job description
The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Recruiting Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis.
The Role
Etsy is looking for a proactive, high-initiative Recruiting Coordinator to support our Corporate recruiting functions. In this role, you will be a visible partner to the People, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams, providing "white-glove" support for executive-level candidates and high-pressure hiring teams.
As an Operational Partner within the Corporate Recruiting team, you own the logistics and data integrity that drive our hiring success. While scheduling is a core component, this role is designed for a coordinator who thrives on managing the complex 'chess match' of executive calendars, surfacing hiring trends through data, and serving as a proactive advocate for our candidates.
You are an operator who excels at navigating ambiguity, mastering complex global calendars, and using data to keep the recruiting engine running efficiently.
- Active Candidate Advocacy: Serve as the primary guide for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Proactively follow up to ensure they have all necessary information (tech setup, interview prep, and timing) to succeed.
- High-Touch Coordination: Manage complex, high-touch interview loops for senior-level candidates across multiple international time zones (India, Dublin, Brooklyn), partnering closely with EAs and leadership to find "first-available" solutions.
- Hiring Team Partnership: Actively participate in Kick-off meetings and Post-Huddles to provide operational visibility. Partner directly with Hiring Managers to clear calendar bottlenecks and ensure feedback is submitted promptly.
- Data Integrity & Trend Reporting: Maintain meticulous records in Workday. You will be responsible for creating and managing spreadsheets to track hiring health, identify bottlenecks, and share weekly progress updates and trends with the team.
- Operational Problem Solving: Identify process gaps in the candidate journey or internal workflows and implement solutions that decrease time-to-hire.
- 2+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator (Agency or In-house).
- Specialized Department Support: Prior experience supporting Legal, People, and/or Finance teams is highly desired. You should be comfortable handling the sensitive nature of these roles and the frequent, last-minute calendar shifts common to these departments.
- Executive Presence: Proven experience partnering with Hiring Managers up to the Executive level and their Executive Assistants.
- Outstanding Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills with the professional nuance and discretion required for Corporate stakeholders.
- Data Savvy: Highly proficient in Google Sheets/Excel with the ability to create trackers and present trends to the team.
- Technical Tools: Experience with Workday, Rooster, or Clinch is a major plus.
- High Autonomy: A shown ability to problem-solve and make decisions with limited information in a fast-paced environment.
Hours and Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week
- This role is 100% remote - must be available to work 9 am-5 pm ET
We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
