We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote in CST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send offer letters to prospective employees.
- Update Smartsheet throughout hiring process.
- Provide quality onboarding support to new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding.
- Order and Coordinate background screening and drug testing for candidates.
- Monitor screening process and report candidate status to relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate complex cases as per company policy.
- Attend and participate in biweekly calls.
- Handle additional assigned administrative tasks
- Support the recruiting function by administering the post-offer employment process from job offer to ready-to-hire.
- Ensure accurate and timely communications to prospective employees by preparing offer letters and providing links to company and 3rd party websites supporting the hiring process.
- Coordinate completion of background screening and drug testing for pending job candidates by initiating and monitoring the process, obtaining required information from candidates and service vendors and reporting candidate status to stakeholders (recruiters, hiring managers and HR managers).
- Escalate background screening cases to stakeholders through application of adjudication guidelines and in accordance with defined company policy.
- Provide administrative support to recruiters by posting open positions to approved job boards and internet sites and assisting with special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Make decisions with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 2+ years needed as a recruiting coordinator or onboarding coordinator
- Ability to modify offer letter language as requested using proper grammar.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers and/or supervisor.
- Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
- Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, salaries and commissions.
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations to determine adherence to FLSA, FCRA requirements and company guidelines.
- Ability to solve problems to in standard situations.
- Ability to establish and maintain work priorities in support of multiple team members.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Systems/Software proficiencies:
- Required: a type of Applicant Tracking System
- Preferred: HireRight (background vendor), Equifax for i9, mail merge, and DocuSign. Smartsheet.
