Job description

Firm is a boutique business law firm located in Century City, California. We represent leading companies in the food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, and consumer product industries. We are seeking a Regulatory Paralegal to support our attorneys on a wide range of regulatory compliance and contract matters. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in FDA, FTC, and California regulatory requirements.


Core Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with FDA, FTC, and state law compliance projects, including preparing and organizing documentation for agency filings and client submissions.
  • Conduct product label reviews, including formatting, proofreading, and verifying compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Draft, review, and organize co-packing, manufacturing, and distribution agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with attorney guidance.
  • Research and summarize Prop 65, MICRA, and other California regulatory requirements for attorney and client reference.
  • Monitor regulatory updates from FDA, USDA, and other agencies; maintain internal compliance trackers.
  • Communicate with clients to collect information, maintain organized files, and track deadlines.


Qualifications/Skills

  • 2–5 years of paralegal experience in regulatory, corporate, or litigation law; law firm or in-house experience in food, beverage, or consumer products a plus.
  • Familiarity with FDA, FTC, and state-level regulatory compliance.
  • Strong research, organizational, and drafting skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing product labels, contracts, or compliance documents preferred.
