Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with a dynamic organization seeking a detail-oriented and organized Los Angeles based Administrative Assistant/Event Planner to join their team on a part-time, remote basis! The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented, creative, energetic, curious, and born to multitask.
Core responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including handling email correspondence, document management, taking meeting minutes, maintaining contact lists, and managing basic website updates
- Assist with event planning, including coordinating logistics, managing timelines and schedules, handling guest lists and RSVPs, attending key events (including a major event on May 4, 2025), and monitoring event budgets
- Develop and post content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to promote upcoming events and engage followers, respond to comments and messages, and track social media performance metrics
- Attend occasional in-person meetings in Los Angeles as required
Qualifications/Skills
- Must be based in Los Angeles and available for occasional in-person meetings and events, including on May 4, 2025 (please do not apply if unavailable on this date)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience in event planning or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
- Basic website management experience preferred
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant or similar role preferred
