ROLE SUMMARY
This role entails conducting reputational due diligence research and analysis to identify risk-relevant items (ie - corruption, bribery, money laundering, fraud, etc) for multinational corporations.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role requires Candidates to be fluent or have advanced language skills (in reading and writing) for those languages referenced. Candidates must also be fluent in English and be able to read / write proficently in English.
Candidates should possess the ability to efficiently read through numerous media articles and google search results in a foreign language to identify potential reputational risks, including but not limited to bribery, corruption, money laundering, fraud, political exposure, state ownership, litigation, financial distress, and other reputational issues. Candidates will also be expected to search syndicated global and regional databases to identify further reputational issues. Familiarity with using risk screening tools such as Lexis Nexis World Compliance is a plus, but not required. Experience with boolean logic and / or use of research search strings is also a plus, but is not required.
Candidates should demonstrate an ability to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently in English to and for all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff. Candidates should also demonstrate some ability to think analytically and apply good business judgment for identifying risks with the research subjects. Candidates should be able to synthesize findings into well-written and cohesive reports.
Candidates should have strong project management skills and be able to multi-task. It is typical to be assigned multiple subjects at once to research with potentially different research levels / requirements (related to different projects). Lastly, candidates must be responsive to emails and follow the assiged research instructions as well as adhere to the length of time allocated for the assignment.
