We are seeking a Resilience Operations Specialist II on a contract basis to support crisis management and organizational resilience initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and can seamlessly pivot between priorities. The successful candidate will excel in managing uncertainty, supporting complex operations, and maintaining effectiveness amid shifting requirements and emerging challenges. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Real-Time Crisis Response Support
- Provide tactical planning and preparation for crisis management calls with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct impact analysis under tight deadlines with incomplete or evolving information.
- Support real-time crisis management responses, adapting to changing dynamics and unexpected developments.
- Execute post-call actions while managing shifting priorities and new information.
- Coordinate follow-up activities on critical workstreams that may change scope or urgency rapidly.
- Drive after-action reviews, capturing insights from fluid situations and evolving circumstances.
Global Crisis Program Framework Management and Maintenance
- Maintain crisis response team roster, accommodating organizational changes and role transitions.
- Support training programs that adapt to emerging threats and changing organizational needs.
- Design and co-facilitate crisis simulation exercises reflecting evolving risk landscapes and operational realities.
- Manage metrics and data collection systems requiring frequent adjustment and refinement.
- Update crisis management plans and documentation to reflect changing procedures and lessons learned.
- Maintain organizational wikis and knowledge systems amid ongoing process improvements and updates.
- Handle operational elements while navigating resource constraints and shifting organizational priorities.
Resilience Operations Execution
- Support contingency planning initiatives, adapting to emerging risks and changing threat profiles.
- Assist with strategic resilience initiatives, accommodating evolving organizational objectives.
- Coordinate employee readiness programs responding to changing workforce needs and circumstances.
- Maintain alignment across resilience domains despite shifting organizational structures and priorities.
- Navigate cross-departmental coordination challenges while managing competing demands and timelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- 3-5 years of experience with operations related to Crisis Management in a large organization, technology sector experience preferred but not required.
- Adult education and E-learning development experience
- Familiarity with crisis and emergency management
- Experience with Google Suite, CRUD, and App Sheets
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, rapidly adjust to changing priorities, and maintain effectiveness amid uncertainty.

- Problem-Solving in Flux: Experience developing solutions and workarounds when standard processes don't apply or must be modified rapidly.
- Stakeholder Navigation: Skill in supporting various stakeholders who may have changing or conflicting needs and expectations.
