Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

We are seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily Restricted Party Screening (RPS) for customers, suppliers, business partners, and transactions.
  • Perform due diligence for screening results using compliance tools, documenting findings, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Review and escalate potential matches for further investigation and resolution.
  • Maintain and update restricted party databases (e.g., E2OPEN) and procedural documentation.
  • Provide input on systems/IT enhancements to reduce false positives and screening holds.
  • Participate in deemed export reviews for technology access by non-U.S. persons.
  • Assist in audits and regulatory inquiries related to export compliance.
  • Support ongoing improvements in trade compliance processes and controls.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Legal, Supply Chain, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Certifications in trade compliance (e.g., CUSECO) are a plus.
  • Experience in trade compliance, export controls, or restricted party screening, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.
  • Knowledge of U.S. export regulations, including EAR and OFAC sanctions programs.
  • Familiarity with restricted party screening tools such as E2OPEN, Dow Jones, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Prior experience with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) or other trade compliance systems.
  • Familiarity with U.S., EU, and APAC trade regulations.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training, audits, and business meetings (up to 15%).
