We are seeking a Retail Operations Associate on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Support management of the retail partnerships pipeline, ensuring smooth onboarding and scaling of new merchants on the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, product, catalog management, growth, and marketing, as well as directly with merchants, to define launch strategies and confirm accurate store configuration at launch
- Design and implement scalable solutions that accelerate onboarding and reduce time-to-launch while maintaining high-quality standards
- Monitor merchant performance during the initial 90 days post-launch, tracking key metrics, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities to improve results
- Share insights and recommendations with leadership to influence outcomes across the broader retail business
- Proactively address operational challenges for new and existing merchants, including managing incremental launches
- Develop expertise in merchant performance metrics to evaluate health and impact, collaborating with operations teams to reduce cancellations and increase volume
- Partner with growth and marketing teams to support initiatives that drive growth and improve merchant visibility
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of standardized processes and playbooks for efficient and scalable launches
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a strategy or operations role
- Experience managing merchant launches and monitoring merchant performance metrics
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues using tools such as Sigma
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create scalable solutions
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- SQL proficiency preferred but not required
