Our customer is seeking a Reusable Packaging Ambassador on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% onsite at San Franscisco, CA.
About the role Client is piloting reusable packaging in Half Moon Bay as part of our efforts to reduce the packaging waste associated with food delivery. To support this pilot, the Reusable Packaging Ambassador will provide on-the-ground support, including but not limited to recruiting merchant participants, supporting consumer marketing design and operations, monitoring return points, raising local awareness, and engaging with local consumers and community groups. In this role you will:
- Sign up restaurant partners to be part of the reusable packaging pilot. Pitch reusable packaging pilot to restaurants and sign them to the pilot program.
- Provide restaurants with onboarding support (show sample inventory, train restaurants on packaging order portal). Support restaurants with highlighting reusable packaging through DoorDash app and on-site marketing and signage.
- Raise local awareness of reusable packaging by providing merchants with handouts and marketing material and engaging with local consumers and community groups, for example during farmers markets or beach clean ups.
- A successful candidate will: Be located within driving distance of Half Moon Bay.
- Have availability to contribute 6 hours per week for a 6-month period. Have 2-5 years of sales, customer service, and marketing experience.
- Have experience with pilots and/or community engagement campaigns.
- Be a dynamic people-person with comfortability approaching and engaging with restaurant owners and consumers.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have experience working in or with restaurants.
- <80% of quota = $0
- 80-99% of quota = $2,880
- 100% of quota= $3,840
- 120% of quota = $4,800
- These commission numbers are TOTAL for the program, not monthly.
