What you’ll contribute:
MomProject.org is seeking a Community Manager, RISE, reporting into the Director of RISE. This role will drive the RISE community program-to-platform strategy and be responsible for Community management for the RISE Accelerator. We’re looking for an experienced program manager with community building and start-up experience who thrives under pressure and is committed to a deep understanding of community and mentorship strategies. If this describes you and you also possess a passion for connecting moms and women of color to each other to achieve success, this is the role for you.
The RISE Program Manager, Community will be responsible for defining, building and delivering the RISE Community program; alignment of strategy, development and status of Community-specific roadmap. This role will work cross-functionally with Platform Experience, Product, Customer Service, Research, Marketing & Community, and Design teams to develop a comprehensive mentorship platform strategy and deliver Community products to market at an ambitious, high-quality clip while driving user growth and adoption at scale.
The skills and qualities you’ll need to succeed:
- 3+ years experience in program management required
- Preferred experience working with strategic community build
- Ability to anticipate needs and deliver high-quality solutions under tight deadlines and with limited resources
- Demonstrated proficiency in defining, implementing, and managing company-wide initiatives
- Strong prioritization, planning and time management skills; attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem solver
- Excellent communication skills, hands on experience with content management
- Skilled at building and nurturing stakeholder networks and works collaboratively to achieve results
- High level of energy, independence, integrity, and curiosity
- Succinct and articulate communicator, ability to distill data into actionable insights and convey recommendations through decks, presentations and briefs.
