Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a virtual culinary experience company, who is looking for a marketing and operations assistant. This Magical Unicorn Human is super competent, detail oriented, skilled in an array of administrative and executive tasks who delights in collaboration and creativity.

Core tasks include:

  • Design collateral across all of SKs platforms-
  • Website (banners, graphics, webpages),
  • Seasonal proposals and offering PDF’s,
  • Social media posts,
  • Campaign emails,
  • Virtual and in-person event materials.


  • Virtual Event Production assistance-
  • Menu development and overall design consultation and collaboration.
  • Email workflows provided to guests
  • Upload CSV files for Shipped Goods using Pirate Ship,
  • Event Kit packouts (in person),
  • Create Event Resources documents with recipes and printable shopping lists
  • Item sourcing


  • Sales-
  • drafting client contracts & invoices
  • scheduling calls
  • update and manage lead tracking spreadsheet


  • Marketing-
  • Create email marketing campaign templates (Flodesk)
  • Maintain consistent marketing communications schedule
  • Google ad campaign maintenance


  • Website updates (WIX)


  • Maintaining Social Media posting and content schedule


  • Other tasks as needed-include staffing and in person event coordination,


Tasks are managed in collaboration with Chef and owner at weekly planning and co-working meetings.

Ideal human is deeply aligned with company's mission and values, has experience in the food industry, uses social media regularly, and is a skilled cat herder.

Flexible schedule 10-20hrs a week. Looking for someone local to the Bay Area who could meet weekly (though 90% of work is remote). Deep understanding of and experience in the food industry is prized.

Extra hours potentially available for the right person if bookkeeping is in your wheelhouse.
