Job description

Sales Assistant, Outdoor Advertising

Location: NYC (remote)

We are hiring a Sales Assistant to support the sales team, primarily with creating proposals and client presentations. There may also be lead generation, business development and other related tasks. This role works directly with the Account Executives, Marketing Director and CEO of the company. The Sales Assistant is ideally positioned to learn how to sell media and could eventually move into an Account Executive role.

About Us:

We deliver hyper-local media at scale, with over 4,000 advertising sites nationwide in 170 DMAs. With 45% of daily trips made for shopping & errands (Geopath), nearly half of road traffic is destined for shopping center parking lots – the modern town square – where we own media. Our strength is reaching people with an out-of-home format with dominant visuals in a retail environment where people are most open to receiving branded messages. We’ve been validated by repeat clients over the past decade across multiple sectors including healthcare, insurance, telecom, CPG, government, financials and technology, and work with leading ad agencies around the country.

We have a very open, collaborative, and casual culture and welcome people with creative thinking and a results-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

Primary: Create Presentations & Proposals

  • Support the sales team by creating multi-faceted marketing materials with data tables, photographs, maps and graphical layouts.
  • Query databases and organize information so it’s easy to interpret and evaluate from the buyer’s perspective. This includes information about media formats, audiences, geographies, pricing and other specifications.
  • Create supporting visualizations with maps, photographs and graphical layouts.
  • Deliver high-quality materials on time with sometimes tight turnarounds to support sales reps in revenue-generating activities.
  • Coordinate and interact with operations, real estate and marketing team members.

Secondary: Lead generation, business development & related tasks

  • If time allows, support the sales team with lead generation by researching, scraping & cleaning prospect lists, and importing to the CRM (HubSpot).
  • Basic outbound business development including cold outreach, qualifying leads and scheduling meetings.
