Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a renowned luxury retail brand with five locations in the Hamptons, to find an experienced and motivated Sales Associate. This role is crucial for delivering an exceptional, personalized shopping experience to a high-end clientele, fostering client relationships, and driving sales. The ideal candidate will bring strong retail experience, reliability, and a passion for building customer loyalty.

Core Responsibilities

Client Relationship Building

  • Actively engage with customers, understand their needs and preferences, and cultivate long-term relationships through personalized service and follow-up communication.

Product Expertise

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of product features, design details, and brand history to confidently answer customer questions and provide expert recommendations.

Sales Performance

  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales goals by employing effective selling techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, while maintaining a high conversion rate.

Communication and Professionalism

  • Articulate product features clearly and confidently, present information persuasively, and actively listen to customers to ensure their needs are met.

  • Uphold a polished demeanor, adhere to ethical sales practices, and maintain company standards of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications/Skills
  • Proven experience in high-end retail, with a focus on customer engagement and sales performance.

  • Strong reliability and teamwork skills, with flexibility to occasionally support other Hamptons locations.

  • Proficiency with POS systems and ability to quickly learn new software.

  • Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
